Hello, my name is Jaleec Pino: I am an aspiring journalist working at the intersection of entertainment news, and New Media Journalism. My portfolio includes: Interviews, podcasting, and digital storytelling – I build engaged audiences across social platforms, through collaborations with media pages with high impact content.
My foundation was built through – Interviews, articles, blog posts, and cross platform collaborations: With media pages across social media. That consistent work ethic drove high engagement, and established me as a rising voice in entertainment news.
I graduated | Cum Sum Laude | with a bachelor’s degree in Entertainment Business. I am currently seeking my Master of Arts in New Media Journalism: Where I am mastering the craft of merging traditional reporting, with New Media Journalism.
Beyond the media realm, I am a devoted student of history – Particularly the evolution of fashion, from: Coco Chanel’s revolution of women’s dress, to the houses of Christian Dior and Yves Saint Laurent. I trace the rise, and fall of empires: The colonial histories that shaped nations – The wars, past and present, that reconstructed the map. I devote much of my time outside of journalism to: International, and national politics – Commanding my attention as closely as any story I cover: Fashion, in all its forms – Remains a lifelong passion.
